Effective date: September 8, 2026. Last updated: September 8, 2026.

This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a working product license for the web portal at truecraft.thelightlabs.dev (the “Service”). The Service is operated by The Light Labs for Truecraft Builders and is presented to users as the Truecraft client / contractor cost portal, with Ledgerline branding on account emails.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. This document is not formal legal advice and may be updated. A current copy is published at /portal/eula.

1. License to use the portal

Subject to this Agreement, The Light Labs grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service through a supported web browser, solely for the business purpose of viewing authorized contractor cost, job, and billing information for Truecraft / Ledgerline and invited clients.

You do not receive ownership of the Service, its software, trademarks, or documentation. Except for the limited license above, all rights are reserved.

2. Accounts and access

Access is by invitation or other authorization issued for your email address. You must provide accurate account information, keep one-time codes and any device PIN confidential, and tell us promptly if you believe your access was used without permission. Contractor and admin users may invite clients and must only grant access to people who are entitled to see the related job information.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to access data you are not authorized to see.
  • Attempt to bypass authentication, access controls, rate limits, or security features, or to probe, scan, or disrupt the Service.
  • Copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or resell the Service except as allowed by law that cannot be waived.
  • Interfere with QuickBooks connections, sync jobs, or other users’ accounts.
  • Upload malware or use the Service to send unsolicited bulk messages.

4. QuickBooks data and accuracy

The portal is a read-oriented view of records synchronized from QuickBooks Online and related operational data. You (and the connected QuickBooks company) are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of information in QuickBooks and for deciding who may see it. The Service does not replace QuickBooks as the books of record, may lag the source system, and may show provisional or unassigned items until they are reviewed.

Intuit’s terms govern your use of QuickBooks. Connecting QuickBooks is optional and uses Intuit’s consent screens. The operators of this Service do not warrant that Intuit will continue to make any particular API available.

5. No warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE LIGHT LABS, TRUECRAFT BUILDERS, AND LEDGERLINE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that cost, time, invoice, or payment figures displayed in the portal are complete or current.

6. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE LIGHT LABS, TRUECRAFT BUILDERS, LEDGERLINE, AND THEIR AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF THIS AGREEMENT OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO THE LIGHT LABS FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, the limits apply to the fullest extent allowed.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access immediately if you breach this Agreement, if a QuickBooks connection is revoked, if an invitation or grant is withdrawn, or if we discontinue the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive (including acceptable use, no warranty, limitation of liability, and governing law) survive termination.

8. Governing law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Courts located in Washington, USA, are the intended venue for disputes that cannot be resolved informally, unless applicable law requires a different forum.

9. Changes

We may update this Agreement by posting a revised version at /portal/eula with a new effective date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms, except where applicable law requires a different process.

10. Contact

For questions about this Agreement or the Service, contact The Light Labs at otp@thelightlabs.dev. Related privacy practices are described in the Privacy Policy.
